Blogmas & November Favorites

Hi Guys,

So it is now December that means its time for Blogmas 2013. I am so excited to share my all the fun adventures with you up to the day of christmas. During Blogmas I will be posting DIYs, hauls, gift ideas, makeup looks, and much much more. I am so excited and cant wait to show you guys the stuff I have planned. So I thought the perfect way to start off Blogmas was with my November favorites because it recaps November all in one little blog post and leads us straight into December.

Beauty
First things first I have been loving the Revlon Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie. It is a darker berry pink which is I think perfect for the fall and winter time. It very pigmented which I was a little surprised by because they are described as more on the lip balm side rather than a lipstick. But I still love this product nonetheless.

I got the Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Intense in "09 ebony" in a sample bag of products when Clinique was having a promo. I absolutely love this eyeliner because it will only smudge when you first put it on and then it is doesn't smudge all day long, which is great if you have oily eyelids like me.

The Clinique High Impact mascara in "01 black" has been a favorite of mine for a while now. I can say it is honestly one of the best mascaras I have ever used. It defines everyone of my lashes and makes them so much longer.

Bath & Body

Recently I have been loving the "The FabPore Facial Peel" from Soap & Glory.  This mask leaves my skin bright, glowing, and having shrunken pores which is very nice since I can sometimes have very dull skin and rather large pores. But I find the name a little misleading because it is not a facial peel but more of a lathering face mask. But that doesn't stop me from loving this facial mask and thinking it is a great product overall.

Vaseline Cocoa Radiant lotion is a skin savior during these skin drying winter months. It repairs skin with cocoa butter and strays 3 TM. It says it penetrates skins top, core, and deep down layers to leave skin with a glowing look. I love this lotion so much and it even smells a little like chocolate because of the cocoa butter which is a plus.

I came across the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power Cream Wash only by accident, when I was in desperate need of a new face wash, but I am so glad I did. This product contains salicylic acid, and "skin-smoothers" such a green tea and cucumber, to soften the appearance of skin and reduce redness. It also has "MicroClear Technology" which is supposed to boost the delivery of acne medication to your skin's problematic areas. I can say from using this product for months that I absolutely love this product. It has  reduced the size of my pores and kept my acne a lot more manageable.

I also got the Clinique All About Eyes Rich cream in the sample bag. I have owned the Clinique All About Eyes cream also but I like this one better because is more intense and I can trust it will keep the dark circles I can have under my eyes away for good while I have this on. This is one product I would definitely recommend buying if you have dark circles.

Food & Drink

Clif Crunch Chocolate Chip bars are a new obsession of mine because they taste so yummy and and keep me fuller longer. They contain 3g of protein, 1 serving of daily organic whole grains, and are 70% organic. They taste just like a oatmeal chocolate chip cookie rather than just another granola bar making it easier to eat healthy. They also come in 5 other flavors such as blueberry crisp, chocolate peanut butter, honey oat, peanut butter, and white chocolate macadamia.

Bigelow's Cozy Chamomile Tea is a must have for these winter months, it is naturally sweet and has   a light floral note. Tea has so many amazing properties to keep your body healthy which just makes it all the easier to drink. This one especially helps with tummy cramps and is great for relaxing and cozying up during those cold winter months.

Fitness

This month I started using the "NTC" (Nike Training Club) app again. This app is so simple and easy to use. It keeps track of how many minutes you have worked out, saves workouts you like and have recently done, has celebrity athlete workouts, and instructional videos. The app also has features an audio instructor who motivates and leads you through the exercises and a rewards program fueled on the minutes you have earned working out. The app is great for all levels beginner, intermediate, and advanced. This is an overall great workout app for anyone who is looking for a great simple way of working out for free.

On the days I have been wanting an easier workout I have been doing the Pop Physique workout video I found via the POPSUGAR Fitness YouTube page. This workout is a mix between ballet, Pilates, and light weight work blended into one workout. It is a total body workout that is so much fun to do. Click on the link below to try the workout for yourself.

Music

This month I have absolutely been loving "Pompeii" by Bastille it is such a great dance song with chanting that gives it a very chill vibe. This is a song that will get stuck in your head in no time, if it isn't already.  Another song I have been completely obsessed with is "Home" by Gabrielle Aplin. The combination of her amazing vocals and simple guitar playing make this song such a joy for the ears and will have you hooked in no time. If you would like to listen to either of the song click on the links below.

Unfavorite

I bought the Neutrogena SkinClearing Blemish Concealer hoping it would cover up my acne and keep my skin from breaking out. While it did keep my skin from breaking out it gave only a very sheer coverage to my problematic areas and when it set left a caky appearance on my skin.

sadly I dont have a picture

Thanks for reading and come back tomorrow for another Blogmas post.
xoxo,
        Jackie
