March / April Favorites

Hi guys,

Last month I didn't write a favorites post because I didn't have any new products I was using. But two months later and you can bet your bottom dollar I have quite a few new things I have been using and absolutely loving.

Skincare:

Yes To Cucumbers Hypoallergenic Facial Wipes:
I can definitely say "Yes To" these wipes *haha punny*. These wipes do such a great job of removing my makeup without irritating my skin or breaking me out. These oil-free, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic wipes take of all my makeup with just one wipe and don't leave my skin with a sticky residue like some other wipes I have used do. Plus they aren't just great for you they are also great for the earth because they are biodegradable too.

While this product promises to take care of acne past, present, and future with maximum strength salicylic, I haven't really seen any difference in my past acne. But on from that I have seen a dramatic difference in my current acne. There is a lot less acne now to begin with and it has kept my breakouts at bay. So all in all I am very pleased with the result of this new face wash.

This product is definitely an oldie but a goodie. This product reduces my acne in two days when I use it. This is also fantastic because while it clears up my acne it doesn't make my skin dry. This is a must have product for everybody who suffers from acne.

Makeup:

NYX Je Ne Se Quoi Palette:
This is my first NYX eyeshadow palette and I think these eyeshadows are freaking fantastic. They are so creamy and have great color pay off. This is the best affordable everyday palette (it only cost $10) and perfect for creating both day and night looks for every occasion.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in "Medium 25":
So at first I was honestly not to pleased with this product because it didn't sit right on my skin, but after learning the key to great application of this concealer was actually just "less is more" I fell in love. This honestly brightens up all my dark/dull areas on my skin and stays on forever.

Maybelline Baby Skin:
I have suffered with giant pores since I can remember and am always looking for the next great product. I absolutely love Benefit's POREfessional but the price is a little high for repeated purchase. Baby skin is the next best option because it covers my pores and keeps my makeup on my face longer.

Maybelline Clear Great Lash Mascara:
Last but not least for my makeup favorites is this handy dandy clear mascara. I use this mascara to keep my unruly brow hairs in place and my brows looking good all day long. The only thing I don't like about this product is the packaging because I can see how gross and gloppy it is getting since it is mixing with my brow powder.

Nails:

Essie "Cute as A Button":
*Gasp* This is actually my first Essie nail polish but I can absolutely say this will not be my last. So this picture is absolutely not doing this color justice but this has been on nails none stop since I purchased it. The color of this nail polish is a bright coral-y pink and is so pigmented I could get away with just one coat. This color absolutely screams "Spring" to me and will be on my nails all this spring.

Books:

The Divergent Series:
So if you have not read this series already, you absolutely need to. These books are so addictive and captivating I have had a hard time putting them down. I am now on the third book and completely immersed in this series. While the movie in my opinion was ok  in my opinion the books are worth the time and effort put into to reading these. So all in all if you are going to read anything soon and you haven't read this series yet, you should definitely read this  series.

XOXO,
    Jackie
