Cozy Night In

Hi Guys,

    I just wanted to take a minute and sit down to write a blog post, seeing that I haven't written one in a little bit. I have been so busy with school and just life in general that I haven't had time to just sit down and write. So since tonight is the first night I have had time to sit down and focus my thoughts I thought I would treat myself to a little pamper night in.

    My pamper night usually begins with washing my face then applying a facial mask to help my skin recover and stay healthy, since it goes on through so much everyday. While I am waiting for my face mask to do its job I warm up a nice big cup of tea ( tonight I went for chamomile). After that I take off my face mask and curl up in bed with my laptop to catch up on some YouTube videos.  Then I read through my feed on Bloglovin to help me fall asleep.

February Wish List

Hi guys,

     After much snooping around on many of my favorite beauty sites I decide the best way to organize my thoughts was in a blog post. So that's just what I did I created a fun way of organizing what I want to buy. I hope this not only helps me but helps you find new products.

1. Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed Deep Pore Detox Mask

         After watching MissGlamorazzi's January favorites video, it just made me want to get my hands            on this. It is a self heating mask that detoxes your skin bringing out all the gunk in your skin that tends to just stay there.     

2. Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer

         I am always looking for the next great pore primer and when I saw this I was so excited because this is so much cheaper than the Benefit POREfessional.

3. Naked 3 Palette

         After receiving my Naked 2 palette for my birthday I fell in love with these eyeshadows and after seeing the Naked 3 palette I fell in love with colors and its just become another product on my list of must haves.

4. MAC Mineralize Blush in Dainty

        While venturing into the MAC store with my friend I was messing around with products and came across this blush. At first I thought that is was a little to pink but after swatching the color on me and blending it with my finger I decided its actually a very natural pink color that would work with any skin tone.

5. NYX Butter Gloss

         I have heard so much about these lip glosses from so of my favorite beauty gurus and just haven't had the chance to buy any of them yet. They are supposed to be super glossy and pigmented which is a must have for me when choosing a lip gloss.

6. Benefit Gimme Brow

         I am always looking for the next best brow product and came across this one while venturing on Sephora.com. This product makes it easy to apply the 2-in-1 eyebrow gel that keeps your brows in place all day and gives a natural definition to your brows

7. First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser

         This is another MissGlamorazzi recommendation and after looking and reading about it I have slowly been wanting it more and more. This is supposed to remove makeup, dirty, and oils which are things that my skin can't go a day without having on them. 

8. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

          I am a big fan of the NARS brand and I have heard so much about this concealer. I have swatched this concealer on my hands every time I go into Sephora and found that it blends into my skin amazingly leaving my skin feeling like skin. The only thing keeping me from buying it in the past was the price. I couldn't get my self to spend $29 on a concealer but I just can't resist buying this product anymore.

January 2014 Favorites

Hi guys,

     January is over and that can only mean one thing its time for January favorites. This month I have actually been using a lot of new products so this could be a pretty long post.

Beauty:

   


     I have absolutely been loving the Urban Decay Primer Potion because I  have super oily eyelids and find most primers just blend everything together and leave my eyeshadows creased midday.
     My NARS orgasm/ laguna bronzer is another thing I have been loving because I think both shades suit my skin tone wonderfully and leave me with a sheen rather than leaving me looking like an oily grease ball.

    Benefit's They're Real mascara is amazing. I usually don't like plastic wand mascaras but I surprising love this one a lot. It leaves my lashes looking volumized without the clumps and just completes my eye look so perfectly.

     L' Oreal Lineur Intense Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner is just perfect. The felt tip is not to hard and not to flimsy either it has just the perfect combination of the two. Its formulation is great because it is very black and not a sheer gray black like some of the other liquid eyeliners out there . This eyeliner also stays all day even without an eye primer which is important for those days that I am running late and just have enough time to throw on eyeliner and some mascara.

     The Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay is one of those products that I am always reaching for in my makeup bag. I absolutely love the formulation of these eyeshadows, they are creamy and highly pigmented.  Since I have a warmer undertone I have a harder time sometimes finding neutral colors that work for my skin, but these are all rather cooler neutrals that work perfectly for my skin tone.

Skin Care: 

       The Clarisonic Mia 2 was a gift that I received for my birthday and I have been using this basically everyday since.  This just leaves my skin feeling baby soft and clears my very dirty pores. 

       Rosy Lips Vaseline Lip Therapy is a must have product for me because my lips are always in need of moisture.  This just leaves my lips moisturized all day long and leaves a nice pink sheen on my lips. 
      
       Clean and Clear Spot Treatment Gel is another must have, this works great on my pesky spot that just don't seem to go away. I apply this every night before I go to sleep, on any problematic spots on my face and they are usually gone with in two days.  

Fitness: 

       Once again I have absolutely been loving Carly Rowena's fitness videos. I have been watching Carly's videos for quite sometime now and I love the energy I have after doing her workouts. Right now she is doing a weekly bootcamp workout which focusing on a specific part of the body each week. Nails:

        Ok so this is an all around great product. What am I talking about you ask? Its the Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Top & Base Coat. This works great both as a base coat and top coat, leaving my nails super shiny *in the best was possible*. This also works great as a filler polish to help concealer any imperfections that might have happened during the drying process. The only thing that I don't particularly like about this product is it takes a little bit to dry compared to a normal top coat but is worth the wait. 

Clothes:

        I have been loving these Marvel superhero leggings my mom and dad got for me for Christmas, they are super comfy and rather thick so they keep my legs warm all day long. Plus they are a great conversation starter with people because they are so different. 

Books & Music:

        THE FAULT IN OUR STARS!!!!!!! Okay so the book was absolutely fantastic. I cried I laughed and then I cried some more. This book is a must read for everybody and I absolutely can not wait for the movie to come out. I will leave a link below to the movie preview and where to but the book.
